Quality Water Care is working on a major leak located at the Madrona Street alley and Fifth Street. This will require an emergency water shutoff tomorrow, Thursday, July 9, from 9am to 5pm. It’s possible the water will be restored earlier, but please plan on the full day.
As a precaution, we will be implementing a boil order for 24-34 hours after the water is back on … until we get a “good to go” bacteria test sample back. We will notify you via email and on our website when you no longer need to boil the water.
The shutdown and boil order will affect approximately 60 properties:
** West side of Sunset Drive between Second and Fifth
** East side of Sunset Drive between Third and Fifth
** Alder Street between Fifth and Sixth
** West side of Maple Street between Third and Sixth
